Taking pictures of the kids during their Easter egg hunt on Sunday really made me think about the past 2 Easters. They had their first Easter egg hunt together in 2010-when they were finally old enough to enjoy it. And looking through pictures of Easters passed, I realized that, despite the fact the kids are growing so much, there are some staple pictures of all three kids together that I seem to capture every year.
The egg hunts always start the same. All three kids in the front yard of my parent's house, excited and ready to start picking up eggs.

This doesn't last long. Before you know it, Lily & Zaryk are making a mad dash around the house in search of eggs together.

Meanwhile, as Lily & Zaryk race off to find eggs, Leighton is following at a more sedate pace, gently picking up 1 egg at a time and carefully placing it in her basket.

It really cracked me up to see how similar this year's egg hunt was to last year's. Even in every day life, Lily & Z are two peas in a pod (despite not seeing one another very often, they are extremely similar in disposition, creativity and attitude), while Leighton does things in her own way. I love that they are so close in age and are able to enjoy all these moments and have all these memories together.

I'm pretty sure we have the cutest kids ever in our family. Seriously. They're adorable.
